Many small partners complain that Macs have slowed
down over time, mostly due to hardware degradation or failure to keep up with
the latest systems, and sometimes software problems.
One simple trick is to reset the MacBook's System
Management Controller (SMC). SMC controls low-level features based on Intel's
MacBook, such as battery management, thermal management, and pressing the power
button. Although it may seem irrelevant, resetting the SMC on a slow-performing
MacBook may also make it run like a new one again.
Steps to reset your MacBook's System Management
Controller (two models)
One, 12-inch MacBook and early MacBook Air
1. Press and hold the shutdown button and wait until
the Mac is completely powered off.
2. Hold down the Shift-Command-Option three buttons
on the left side of the keyboard, then press and hold the power button for 10
seconds.
3, release all the buttons
4. Press the power button again to restart the
MacBook.
Second, the 2018 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro
1. Click the Shut Down button and wait for it to
completely turn off the power.
2.If you press and hold button for 10 seconds.
3. Release the power button and wait for a while.
4. Press the power button again to turn the MacBook
back on.
